Trade and Investment
SAIIA's trade, investment and finance cluster focuses on the important role of trade and investment in fostering the sustainable development of the continent. While focusing on the multilateral and bilateral trade agenda of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) and South Africa, this cluster also explores critical non-tariff barriers hampering trade and investment in the region and investigates the continental impact and role of South African private sector companies in the region. Our work is focused on building regional capacity in dealing with trade and investment issues.
