November 15, 2007: Korea-Africa Forum Intersessional Meeting 2007

Following the visit of the President of the Republic of Korea, Mr Roh Moo-hyun, to Africa in March 2006, the Korea Africa Forum meeting in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in November 2006 and the visit of Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka to Korea in May 2007, the South African department of foreign affairs and the embassy of the Republic of Korea in Pretoria requested SAIIA to host an intersessional meeting at Jan Smuts House, Johannesburg, on 15 November 2007. Co-organisers were the Korean Institute of International Economic Policy (KIEP). The papers and powerpoint presentations below were those presented during the one-day meeting.
