The China in Africa Policy Reports, published by SAIIA in 2007 and 2008, identify key areas governing Sino-African relations, provide a more substantive examination of these issues, and analyse the various angles. Parliaments of the South Reports

The Parliaments of the South Reports, produced in 2004 and 2005, emanated from SAIIA's Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy in SADC Countries project. Each report focuses on a specific parliament in one of the 13 SADC countries. The analysis presented in each report is based on specialist primary and secondary research conducted into the state of parliamentary democracy in that country. The reports then make recommendations on how parliamentary democracy might be improved, strengthened and sustained:
