Talitha Bertelsmann-Scott
Research Associate
Talitha has worked extensively in the areas of EU-South and Southern African trade relations, as well as Southern African integration. She has also done some work on parliamentary systems in Southern Africa, especially in Namibia.
Her experience stems from a research fellowship at SAIIA, followed by numerous independent consulting projects, as well as some research assistantships at the University of Stellenbosch and UCT’s Graduate School of Business. She recently held the position of Project Manager at Imani Development and was the Trade Policy Officer at Christian Aid in London. Presently she is Project Manager and Consultant at Mthente Research and Consulting Services. She holds an MA Political Science from the University of Stellenbosch and is currently studying towards her MPhil in Economic Policy at the same university.
