Gregory is a freelance researcher. He is a journalist and consultant specialising in political economy, who has worked extensively in sub-Saharan Africa since the early 1990s. His research themes have included the impact of sanctions in Burundi, terrorism financing in central Africa, the movement of small arms in central Africa and non tariff barriers to trade in SADC.
