Background:

Daniel Chiwandamira studied at the University of Ife in Nigeria and graduated with Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics in 1981. He then joined the Air Force of Zimbabwe as an engineering officer and rose through the ranks to become a Group Captain. He retired in 1991 after ten years of service. He obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe in 1989 and a Masters in Finance from the University of Cape Town in 2008. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Chiwandamira has been involved in business ventures focused mainly on consulting on economic development issues, long distance trucking and the engineering business in South Africa.  An entrepreneur at heart, his passion is creating and nurturing businesses. He is currently a consultant working on the development and design of projects or programmes that are supported by cooperating partners. He also oversees the monitoring and evaluation of these programmes.
