This membership pertains to diplomatic missions accredited to South Africa whether at the embassy and high commission, consulate general or consulate level.

This membership pertains to diplomatic missions accredited to South Africa whether at the embassy and high commission, consulate general or consulate level.

Schedule of fee and services for 2012: R 4 410

  • Invitations extended to senior Embassy staff to all SAIIA events including conferences and workshops (some 50 last year, including several ministerial addresses);
  • One VIP contact (usually the Head of Mission) who receives invitations to special “members only” off the record briefings;
  • One hard copy of selected SAIIA books and other publications including the SA Journal of International Affairs;
  • Access to senior SAIIA staff for informal discussions on topics of interest;
  • Electronic monthly newsletter for the Head of Mission and senior staff on latest developments at SAIIA
  • Access to SAIIA library
