Event Background:

After attending the Liceo Classico Pio IX in Rome he graduates in law in 2004 at the L.U.I.S.S Guido Carli University in Rome.

During the following three years he works as a journalist first in Rome, for the news agency AdnKronos, and then in Santiago, Chile, where he works at the local headquarters of the Italian news agency ANSA, besides collaborating with various Chilean printouts.

He returns to Italy in 2007 where he attends a Master in International Relations at the S.I.O.I, in Rome.

In 2009, though a public exam, he enters the diplomatic career. After attending the training course at the Diplomatic Institute of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs he serves in the Directorate General for the Americans and in the Directorate General for Legal Affairs, Diplomatic Dispute and International Agreements.

In 2011 he is assigned to the Embassy of  Italy  in Manila, Philippines, as first Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission.

Since 18 May 2015 he is the Consul of Italy in Cape Town , with extended jurisdiction over the provinces of the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape, as well as the Island of St. Helena (UK).
