Date: 27 - 28 September 2016
Venue: Instituto Mora, Mexico City
The purpose of the meeting is to provide inputs in the NeST conceptual and analytical framework and its set of indicators to measure the quality and effectiveness of South-South partnerships, based on experiences and lessons gathered from field testing of the framework in several case studies conducted during the course of 2016 on various SSC providers (South Africa, Brazil, India, Turkey, China and Mexico). The workshop will also reflect on the inputs, suggestions and feedback received on the NeST framework by various stakeholders at various national, regional and international consultations.
Download the latest version of the working document 'Developing a conceptual framework for South-South Co-operation' here.
Based on the discussions in Mexico City, between the ‘developers’ and ‘testers’ of the NeST evaluation framework, the indicators to measure the quality of SSC will be adapted and updated, as the framework will be re-published for presentation at the upcoming HLM2 of the GPEDC, to be held in Nairobi later in the year.
