Event backgroundOn April 2 and 3, the Africa - European Union Summit will take place in Brussels. During the Summit, African and European Heads of State and Government will discuss the partnership between the two neighbouring continents, thereby paying attention to political cooperation, peace and security, development cooperation and trade and investment.
Ambassador Roeland van de Geer will review the main outcomes of the Summit, discuss trends in EU Africa relations and give his perspective on priority areas for future cooperation between Africa and Europe. Attached please find His Excellency Ambassador Roeland van de Geer’s biography.
