South African Institute of International Affairs cordially invites you to a Speakers' Meeting to be addressed by Professor Andrei Marga, Rector of the Babes-Bolyai University on "Europe and Africa in the 21st Century: A view from East Central Europe"

Professor Andrei Marga is the Rector of the Babes-Bolyai University, Honorary President of the Dunabian Rectors Conference, member of the Academia Europea in Austria and Germany, vice-chair of the CEPES-UNESCO board and holds many other prestigious positions. Professor Marga is also a former minister of education of Romania. He has written extensively with publications totalling 32 and over 30 studies and articles highly ranked in international database.

Babes-Bolyai is the largest Romanian university (approximately 50,000 students and 1,700 faculty staff), situated at the confluence of the Eastern and Western cultures, the university with the longest academic history in Romania.
